Candle Care Instructions: Burn Bright and Safe

To get the most out of your candle and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, follow these simple care instructions:

Before You Burn:

• Trim the wick: Always trim the wick to ¼ inch (6mm) before each lighting. This prevents soot buildup and promotes a clean, even burn.
• Melt the wax fully: During the first burn, allow the melted wax to reach the edge of the container. This helps prevent tunneling (uneven burning) in future uses.
• Placement matters: Place your candle on a heat-resistant surface away from flammable objects, drafts, and children or pets.

While Burning:

• Never leave unattended: Always keep your burning candle within sight. Extinguish it before leaving the room or going to sleep.
• Burn for moderation: Don't burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. This prevents overheating and allows the wick to cool properly.
• Extinguish safely: Extinguish the flame by dipping the wick into the melted wax and then straightening it back up. Avoid blowing out the flame, as this can cause flickering and soot.

Maximizing Candle Life:

• Keep it clean: Remove any debris, such as wick trimmings or matches, from the wax pool before relighting.
• Don't burn it all the way down: Stop burning your candle when about ½ inch (1.25cm) of wax remains. This prevents the container from overheating and allows for safe disposal.

Enjoy your candle responsibly and create a warm, inviting ambiance in your home!
